Gibraltar - Tuesday, Apr. 28

Gibraltar is a self-governing British overseas territory located near the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. The territory shares a border with Spain to the north. Gibraltar has historically been an important base for the British Armed Forces and is the site of a Royal Navy base. Although is less than three square miles in area, the Rock of Gibraltar has become a symbol of durability and permanence.
Places of Interest: St. Michael’s Cave, Apes’Den, Cable Car, A City under Siege Exhibit, World War II Tunnels and Upper Galleries & Great Siege Tunnel.
The climate is typically Mediterranean with mild winters and warm dry summers, although May to September can get very hot and humid. There is no rainy season, but most rain falls in the winter months when the average temperature is 59 degrees. In the summer the temperatures hover around 86 degrees.
Gibraltar is a nice city, looks like Hong Kong and Macau - narrow street and hanging out the clothes from the window to dry.
