Blanket of ice spreads over everywhere



An icy sleet was beginning to fall at late Tuesday. I could hear the icy wind was blowing all night.
When I woke up this morning, everywhere was covered with icy. I went to my Crochet Class was canceled due to the wet road with a quarter-inch or more of ice this morning. No body was show up.

Happy Chinese New Year!


1/26/09 will be Chinese Lunar New Year. The Chinese New Year begins according to the Chinese calendar which consists of both Gregorian and lunar-solar calendar systems. Because the track of the new moon changes from year to year, Chinese New Year can begin anytime between late January and mid-February.

New Orleans trip






We went to New Orleans, LA for a short vacation. The city is very nice but we were disappointed with gumbo (very famous food in New Orleans).

Cold weather in Dallas




When the temperature dropped to 22, I could see the ice all over the patio chairs and the trees.
