Walking in sunset/Lowe's Home Improvement

There are ponds everwhere in Highland Village. We like to take a walk along by the pond every evening. It is so wonderfull to enjoy the beatifull sunset view and listen the frogs singing.......(make Tom remember his childhood life)

It seems every other day we have visit Lowe's Home Improvement Center to get something for the house. That is a good reason for us to go out shopping.

Printer

Today we bought a HP (Hewlett-Packard) Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer. According to description: This printer is ready to print, scan, copy, and fax as directed. It turn out lab-quality photos and reprints, laser-quality documents, and beautiful scans. It will print on both sides of the page, print uncut Web pages, and automatically feed paper so you don't have to stand around. And you can even add it to your home network, as it has built-in wireless and Ethernet connectivity. I hope it will work as they said.

Window seats

A Window seat is the perfect place for relaxing. Since we already have a long one (see top pic), so I am planing to create a window seat cushions (like as right pic). But I need a sewing machine to do it. (Tom is going to get one for me) This will be my next big project!

The heat in Dallas is very famous, I hope 3M Window Films would help us to cut down the heat and A/C bill.

After installed it, I could tell it is different, the inside of house is not that bright any more.

The spring is over!

This morning I took a walk. I found out my aera has different kind of constructions are working on. A soccer field on the west side which one house behind us, a lot of huge new homes on the hill of the south side.

Today I felt the spring is over, sunset is not lovely any more because the strong sunshine keep the house is very warm. My poor neigbour's house is facing west side and now they hate the sunset very much.

Hobby Lobby

With over 30,000 products in 12 departments, Hobby Lobby is the place to shop for great crafts, home decor and gift ideas. It is a little bit different from Michaels. But I still like Michaels more.

Lost on the freeway

I cannot belive we got lost again when we came back from Ikea. This is our second time went to Dallas North Tollway instead of Fwy 121. Last time we went to North at the late night with no fee. But this time we went to South and have paid round trip toll fee. So we paid the lesson to get familiar this area.

AAA Club & Kroger Market

Since we moved to Texas, our auto insurance needs to be transfered from California to Texas.

We were told by AAA insurance agent that we will get $600.00 credit back with the same coverage.

Also we received a lot of information about how to take care

the house and the cars in Texas.

Yesterday we went into the store with nice weather, suddenly heavy rain hitting the roof very strong and everyone ran to the front door to watch the hail.

15 min later, sunshine was back and seems nothing happened.
